I’m always fascinated with the Amazon top sellers. I can never understand who buys some of the weird cap that is supposedly a “best seller.” Scanning today I can see some random best sellers – In Defence of Food, Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. Exactly who is buying so many of these things?

Equally weird are the recommended Amazon picks, but I guess for a brain dead computer the suggestions aren’t too bad. Amazon seems to think that I’m only interested in 1 topic, no matter how much unrelated stuff I buy.
The best thing about Amazon is the discounts. I’ve come to expect free shipping at the very least – if not bigger discounts from Amazon coupons and such. At least if the recommendations are bad, I can save money getting them.
